Whilst there was thunder, lightning and torrential rain on the Central Coast, out in the country, namely Monkerai there was blue skies and just a couple of light showers during the day. Dean and Amanda being lovers of camping, fishing and nature chose this wonderful venue Riverwood Downs for their wedding day.
Dean and Amanda had only family and a few close friends in attendance, and it was such a relaxed casual and fun day. It’s amazing how much less stressful a wedding day is when everyone is ready early and we have time to do photos without rushing. I started with the boys at their cabin, we were even able to get some ‘fishing’ shots with Dean and his Best Man Aaron. I headed to Amanda, and what a gorgeous backdrop where her cabin was.
Jeff Hindmarsh did a great job as Celebrant as well as DJ/MC and along with his photobooth and finally this time, I didn’t miss out on the Gelato Bar and may have had more than I should have!
Riverwood Downs is so full of country charm. If rustic country is your thing, go check this out. Plenty of accomodation, but pick your months. Yesterday was hot and humid, but the day was still fabulous and those light showers sure did make for some amazing night time photos.
Congratulations Dean and Amanda! Lovely seeing your little ‘Brady Bunch’ come together.
Oh and check out the honey/bee theme!
