Spring has sprung in winter this year and just in time Kiera and Keith’s wedding at Leaves and Fishes.
We saw a few showers earlier in the day but by wedding time, the sun shone so brightly on these two as they married in front of about twenty family and friends. Melonie Bruderlin did the honours of telling the love story and soon after they signed on the dotted line – married!
This was the perfect day for a couple who wanted to keep things small and the atmosphere was like being at a friends place, sitting around enjoying great food and drinks and good conversation. There was no official formalites and it was nice to see everyone so relaxed at this wonderful venue.
Kiera looked absolutely stunning with her dark hair and bright blue eyes, her hair and makeup artist Lucky did a gorgeous job and her bouquet of flowers by Dear Petal Hunter Valley, bold and bright – how I love colour, beautifully tied in with Keith’s suit.
Thank you Kristy, owner of Leaves and Fishes who provided this beautiful setting and making sure it all ran smoothly. This venue has rustic charm, the main villa my goodness – so gorgeous! If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue which combines country with a pocket of rainforest, a huge villa and deck and boathouse cabins overlooking the lake, you must check it out! It’s one of those places that minimal decoration is required – the venue speaks for itself.
I’d love to shoot back there again!
Congratulations to Keith and Kiera – thank you for having me capture your special intimate wedding day at Leaves and Fishes!
