A Pullman Magenta Shores Wedding

As a recommended wedding photographer at Pullman Magenta Shores, I have the pleasure of capturing many beautiful weddings at this stunning coastal venue, and Matt and Shelley’s wedding was no exception.

“Matt and Shelley tied the knot last Saturday, surrounded by their family and friends. Their special day was filled with love, happiness, and a shared excitement to finally say ‘I do’ at their much-anticipated ceremony.

With the weather being a bit unpredictable, they decided to hold the ceremony indoors. But when two people are deeply in love, the location becomes secondary. Pullman Magenta Shores is renowned for its picturesque lawn ceremonies, but with the stunning new renovations and a window offering gorgeous views of the golf course, the wet weather option is just as beautiful. Keelz from The Nuptials Co officiated a heartfelt ceremony featuring personal vows, witnessed by their nearest and dearest—including their beloved furbaby.

Fortunately, the rain held off just enough for us to step outside for a group photo and our location shoot capturing fun memories with their wonderful bridal party before returning for an evening of celebration. Nick Reed kept the atmosphere alive with his musical talents and continued as the MC for the night.

Shelley’s Maori heritage added a deeply meaningful and emotional touch to the day. Guests sang beautiful tributes, and the family came together to perform the Haka—a powerful and awe-inspiring tradition. Capturing the intensity, movements, and expressions of such a cultural moment was truly inspiring and unforgettable for me as a photographer.

Congratulations to Matthew and Shelley – what a privlege to be a part of your day.
