Naturally, Scott and Binisha chose to celebrate their wedding at their own coastal kiosk, The Haven Beach Terrigal—a stunning setting for their Terrigal wedding.”

Kombi vans are absolutely adorable—if that word accurately describes a vehicle! Binisha arrived escorted by her friend Andrew in his fabulous ‘67 Kombi. However, just as she neared the venue, she realised she had left her bouquet behind. It might be surprising, but people often forget small details on the way to the ceremony—I’ve seen many things over the years! Fortunately, with the venue only a minute’s drive away, she quickly made a U-turn to retrieve it. In the end, I’m sure Scott wondered why she had driven back in the other direction.
As the Kombi returned, family and friends on the balcony greeted the couple with claps and cheers. It was such a warm welcome!
A Ceremony Blending Cultures
Scott stood proudly as he waited for his bride, in traditional Nepalese attire—a heartfelt tribute to Binisha’s heritage. It’s always wonderful to see couples embracing and celebrating each other’s cultures, which makes their wedding day even more meaningful.
Celebrant Peter Bray, in his signature bow tie and hat, led the heartfelt ceremony. With warmth and enthusiasm, he shared the story of how Scott and Binisha’s journey together began. Clearly, it was a moment everyone would remember.
A Joyful Celebration That Was a Privilege to Capture
Love, laughter, and the stunning scenery were moments I focused on. After the ceremony, we walked to the beach for portraits, where Scott and Binisha thrived in their element. Meanwhile, their families joined in the fun, with Scott’s sisters sharing countless laughs, clearly enjoying having their antics documented! Undoubtedly, moments like these arealways a joy to capture.
Scott and Binisha’s Terrigal wedding radiated warmth, connection, and unforgettable memories. As a Central Coast wedding photographer, I felt truly honored to document such a special day.
