Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer | Peppers Creek Barrel Room & Chapel
Ed and Taylor were married in the picturesque venue of Peppers Creek Barrel Room and Chapel. This September day was perfect.
Although I hadn’t met Ed and Taylor before their wedding day, I had a sense from her emails that she was an absolute sweetheart. And, as it turns out, I was right. In essence, I was stepping into the unknown, but there was absolutely nothing to worry about—they are warm, friendly, and truly wonderful people. This warmth extended to their family and friends, with whom I had the pleasure of chatting and sharing some laughs throughout the day.
They Met Digging for Buried Treasure
Nicky Surnicky from Marry Me Nicky was their amazing celebrant. Nicky beautifully shared the story of Taylor and Ed, explaining how we all came to be there with them at that very moment. Their meeting was definitely unique. In 2020, both studying to be history teachers, they were on a university foreign exchange program in Israel. It’s easy to imagine them discovering buried treasure when they first met—at least that’s how I picture it in my head! 😉
Capturing this wedding was an absolute joy. I absolutely adore the Peppers Creek Barrel Room for its rustic charm and unique features. The textured walls in the chapel photograph beautifully, especially in black and white. It’s truly a special venue.
Congratulations, Ed and Taylor!
It was an honor to photograph such a beautiful wedding. But more importantly, it was a privilege to capture the spirit of two incredible people.
I’m wishing you both all the very best as you begin your married life together.
With love,
Jodie.
