An Ettalong Diggers Wedding

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Cat and Lance. They are just a joyous couple, and so fun to be with.

I will share their story, in their own words.

“We had initial conversations online for about a month and then Lance asked to meet in person for a coffee date. After the coffee date we knew we wanted to see each other again. There was a 60km distance between the City and the Coast we knew we wanted to give it a go to see where this would take us.

On the second date, Catherine was travelling to see Lance and was in a minor car accident, the car was written off. Catherine had messaged Lance, who was at work, to say she couldn’t make it and would be a while before they would be able to see each other. Lance rushed to Sydney and said he would come to Sydney for a date and Catherine agreed. Catherine took Lance to a local Tappenyaki restaurant (yes the one where they throw food at you!) for dinner. In hindsight, Catherine thought ‘Oh no I’ve made Lance drive for 2 hours only to have food thrown at him.’

It didn’t phase Lance as he wanted to see Catherine again. Catherine and Lance continued to see each other for a year and a half. They had a European trip planned for November 2022 where Lance proposed in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background”

How’s that for a meeting and proposal.

Here is a snippet of their beautiful wedding. Ettalong Diggers looking so elegant thanks to Megan from Material Girlz Event Styling.  Thank you to Ell Starrett for second shooting and as always I love working with Bella and Rob from Bella Photo Art capturing it all on video.
