An Ottimo House Wedding

Ottimo House Denham Court was where Ricky and Elise said ‘I do’.

After photographing Elise’s brother and cousins’ wedding I was thrilled when she asked me to capture hers and Ricky’s special day. Three of the girls in this bridal party are now all my brides.

Lisa Lent came with me to this one and as I photographed Elise getting ready, Lisa headed to Ricky’s family home. Elise’s parents house had been styled for her wedding dress and her accessories and after all these years of shooting, I’ve never come across this. I didn’t have to move a thing!

Lisa told me Ricky surprised his Mum with her favourite car, a Maserati to drive her and his Dad to the wedding and she was so excited by that. What a beautiful gesture from a son to his Mum.

The ceremony was in the marquee at Ottimo House (also the reception room) and what a lovely light and bright room it was (us photographers love a white room!). Ricky and Elise had around 170 guests, so this was a big one.

As I’ve shot a few weddings from this family, I was expecting parents to do a pretty fancy entry and they didn’t disappoint. They come in and they dance, and they have a great time.

We had fireworks, we had dry ice, amazing food, heartfelt speeches, and two high school sweethearts who after ten years are now Mr and Mrs Bernadino.

Huge congratulations Elise and Ricky – you are a super sweet couple and it was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with you.
