A Relaxed Hunter Valley Wedding at Kookaburra Hideaway
My second time at this venue and I love the vibe here. The unique wedding shed is a feature in itself with rustic furniture, and old school touches -it’s got an abundance of character. If you’re dreaming of a relaxed Hunter Valley wedding surrounded by nature, then Kookaburra Hideaway might just be the perfect venue. Set among rolling views, native bushland, curious kangaroos, and the sound of kookaburras calling, it’s a peaceful and charming backdrop. One of those all in one venues.
The Perfect Wedding Morning Setup
This venue offers so much convenience. With cabins for the boys and a lovely main house for the girls, everyone can get ready on-site. There’s no rushing between locations—just step out the door and walk straight down the aisle. It’s stress-free, simple, and utterly picturesque.
A Celebration with Heart
Heather and Josiah’s Hunter Valley wedding was an intimate celebration with their nearest and dearest. Their bridal party was by their side the whole way, friendly, fun, jokes and laughs.
Golden Hour Moments
There’s no need to go far to find that magical Hunter Valley golden glow. After the ceremony, Heather and Josiah took some time for bridal party photos and a few special moments alone, before heading back to their guests to continue the celebration.
Fun, Faith, and Personal Touches
Their reception was full of thoughtful, personal details—from lawn games and table puzzles to keep guests entertained, to a ceremony led by friend, Steve. The couple’s Faith was beautifully acknowledged through heartfelt prayers, meaningful readings, and a few joyful tears shared among friends and family.
