A little over a month from now and these two will be married! But for now, a little engagement shoot. They totally nailed the session – had fun and weren’t afraid to have a laugh…they are most likely laughing at me but that’s all good because I love capturing those genuine looks. My packages include an optional complimentary engagement session – totally up to you whether you want to do it or not, but I think the ones that do, are glad they did because although they did feel a little nervous at the beginning (totally normal), ended up pleasantly surprised how easy it is. I like to keep things lighthearted, and it’s not all about standing in the one spot trying to hold a pose.  Also, you can arrange it to have your makeup trial like Cassie did here, she went to her makeup artist Fiona Rogers ‘Divine Hair and Makeup’ to have her hair and makeup done for the session. They took my advice on what to wear – my biggest tips are simple simple simple… not too many colours or patterns, and keeping similar tones.
