Getting married during a pandemic is some serious business – restrictions, original wedding plans completely changing, should we or shouldn’t we go ahead. Lots of uncertainties. What was certain though was that yesterday’s wedding with Jye and Hayley was absolutely wonderful. An intimate wedding at the Chapel at Chateau Elan, the same location the bridal party were getting ready with rooms basically next door to each other – ahh if only they were all that easy. With some people unable to attend due to Covid, Neil the videographer from WGM Wedding Videographers live streamed it – what we are able to do with technology now is incredible. Lots of things stuck out for me about this wedding – the pure joy from Hayley, the emotion from her groom and maybe even more emotional was Jye’s brother Tate! I think he shed as much a tear as Jye did as Hayley walked up the aisle with her very proud Pop. Speaking of Pop – he killed it on the dance floor when he was brought out for a dance with his granddaughter to the tune of My Girl. He left us all in giggles with some of the moves he was pulling out of the bag.
