Truly an amazing day for Sasha and Rob and their wonderful family and friends. Together for 9 years, 2 gorgeous boys and a house later, they married on the date they made it official, that date happened to be a Thursday. There is no rule to have your wedding on a Saturday! More weekdays please 🙂
Tocal Homestead was the venue of choice!
I’ve been here a few times now and I love the country vibe. A sunny day meant clear pink winter skies, yes it was chilly, but how good does Sash look in that denim jacket? And don’t get me started on how awesome I and everyone thought she looked in the hat! If there was a bride that suits a hat – Sasha is it! Totally rocked it. I loved she kept it on for most of her photos.
The boys were getting ready close to Tocal Homestead so I stopped in there first. Rob broke out the whisky and you’ll see from the photos they thought it was totally delicious. Up the road to ‘Old Dunidald’ Guest house – what a great place to get ready! Amazing views from this old style country cottage.
I could see the nerves and a few tears from Rob, especially when his boys walked down the aisle followed by his beautiful lady, and Sarah Chippendale (totally awesome celebrant by the way), got them married, and when they headed down the aisle, all I could see was confetti and had no idea if I’d be able to see their faces through it.
Lots of really nice words spoken during the speeches, quite a few tears (Sasha’s Mum haha), and a gorgeous bride that said – ‘I just want to dance!’. Not to mention Rob singing and getting all the crowd to sing ‘Don’t want to miss a thing’.
Great to work with some awesome vendors yesterday, Shane from Arrow Media- can’t wait to see the video.
Congratulations Rob and Sash – hope your day was everything you dreamed it would be and more. So happy I was a part of it.
