Our Secret Garden sure does host some memorable weddings.

I’ve lost count of how many incredible weddings I’ve photographed at the Central Coast’s hidden gem, Our Secret Garden. Anna and James’ wedding was no exception—it was as magical and memorable as ever.

Capturing weddings in this unique spot always feels special, with its perfect blend of natural beauty and intimate atmosphere. Every moment, from heartfelt vows to laughter-filled celebrations, makes each couple’s day uniquely theirs.

Anna and James’ day was another reminder of why I love being a Central Coast wedding photographer in such a breathtaking place.

I started the day with Anna and her bridesmaids at Our Secret Garden’s next door accommodation. I captured moments as Alicia’s Personal Hair Design worked her magic with waves and JLS Makeup and Beauty had them looking flawless. As I photographed Anna’s wedding details, I immediately recognised the stunning florals—crafted by none other than Charly from Life with Petals.

Pre-wedding tradition called for a champagne pop, which Anna was a little nervous to do (and nearly gave me a champagne shower!).

Anna’s choice of dress was perfect and looked absolutely incredible on her. Brides to Be is a name I hear often from my brides, and for good reason—it consistently delivers stunning gowns that make each bride feel special

After photos with the girls, I headed to see James and his fun-loving crew—mullets galore! 

The ceremony, led by Dann the Celebrant Man, was full of laughter, with stories of how Anna and James bonded over their shared love of cars. Anna’s proud Dad walked her towards James and we were all set for a phone free ceremony! It was followed by a confetti toss, lots of hugs and I took this fun bunch for some photos around Our Secret Garden. 

The reception was filled with energy and laughter; Tim from Timeless Entertainment and I couldn’t stop laughing at the dance floor antics, including some pant-splitting moves! The Vogue mirror booth was a hit, and fun with props that guests absolutely loved.

I had so much fun shooting this wedding, and I’m sure the photos will showcase the joy and love of the day perfectly. Weddings like this remind me why I love being a Central Coast wedding photographer. Oh and also for the cake – it was delicious. Speaking of, made by Yummy Delicious.
