The Linton Wedding | Jackie & Shaun
This is the kind of wedding that reminds me why I shoot weddings.
There was something really special about this The Linton Wedding from the moment I arrived.
Jackie and Shaun aren’t big on attention. They’re quiet, grounded, and are the kind of people I could chat with all day. They are two sweethearts. I met Jackie at an expo and she told me of her wedding vision. So they chose a Central Coast Micro Wedding that felt true to them.
Just immediate family, Jackie’s best friend Shianna, and a whole lot of meaning.
A Love Story Nine Years in the Making
Jackie and Shaun met at work nine years ago – right place right time. I always enjoy hearing about how people meet. It’s what leads us to this day.
Their wedding reflected who they are perfectly. Meaningful, and full of love.
The Linton Wedding Venue
Their day took place at The Linton, which has recently had a beautiful refresh. Formerly known as Linton Gardens, it’s now under new ownership. This is a venue that has been around for many years. The updates are certainly impressive. It’s so peaceful and private with hidden little spots to shoot. The florals by Madi from The Flannel Collective were a standout. Vibrant natives on the arbour and a beautiful bouquet for Jackie and buttonhole for Shaun.
It’s the perfect setting for a Central Coast Wedding.
A Relaxed Morning Celebration
This Linton Wedding was a morning celebration. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed lawn games and a relaxed lunch.
These are the kinds of weddings I love. No tight timelines, just a relaxed pace. A day like this is a dream to photograph.
First Look and Private Vows
Jackie and Shaun chose to do a first look and they also shared private vows before the ceremony. This took away any nerves and they looked completely relaxed during their ceremony.
Jackie also did a first look with her dad. They both became quite emotional. It was a beautiful moment to photograph.
A Ceremony Full of Story
Their ceremony was led by Jamie from Vocal Events and he told their story with warmth and humour.
Jamie told the story of how they met and their proposal, which didn’t exactly go to plan. After a big hike, the only food they had was a trolli pizza, which later became their guest favour. So when Jamie surprised them with a large version during the ceremony, it was a laugh.
Not One but Two Cakes
Jackie’s clever best friend Shianna made their wedding cake. They also had a gluten free cake, which looked equally yum.
A Vintage Dress Moment
Jackie wore a stunning 90’s vintage dress. I had no idea it was vintage! It looked absolutely beautiful and she looked gorgeous in it.
Effortless, elegant, and completely her.
The Three Little Loves
Jackie and Shaun have three King Charles Cavaliers, all rescues. They are completely obsessed with them, and honestly, I get it. I’m a spaniel owner and spaniel’s are the most beautiful natured dogs.
They’re the sweetest little dogs and such a big part of their lives. I had to get a photo with Miss Sadie. The smallest cavalier I’ve seen coming in at 4kg’s.
The Next Chapter
Wishing you both a beautiful life together, filled with the same connection, and love that made this day so special. Thank you for having me capture this very special day at The Linton.
