They met how a lot of people meet these days and all I can say is how wonderful it is that they did. Yesterday saw Daniel and Jess say ‘I do’ in front of family and friends on a sunny spring day with a lovely breeze (I’m being sarcastic here) it was windy as hell! Jess looked absolutely stunning and I was excited to see Daniel’s face when he saw her. I did an engagement session for these guys a few months ago and I just love the way they look at each other, and it was like that again yesterday.
Often my weddings are from recommendations and it’s thanks to Tania who was a bridesmaid that referred me to Jess and I’m so thankful for this because yesterday was so lovely to photograph. So many things I loved about this wedding – the fact the girls rocked up in the Shelly Beach Courto, one of their engagement photos was used as the seating plan and it looked amazing, the hoops the girls made the night before with the flower instead of bouquets, those paper things we used to make in school (not sure what you call them), they were the name cards and you opened it up and the menu was inside, the kmart shoes Jess changed into for reception, the shirt Jess’ Dad was wearing with her artwork and the beautiful speech about her son from Daniel’s Mum that had me thinking ‘I’m so gonna be that Mum when my son get’s married’ so proud… I could go on. But mostly it was all about the love between these two. Thanks to the bridal party and for Paula who was in the background with her antics getting the giggles.
Thanks Jess and Daniel – I’ve loved getting to know you and share this day with you guys. Enjoy your sneak peak. Don’t worry about screenshots – these will be uploaded to my facebook page.
