Chris & Lauren – Norah Head and North Entrance SLSC: 12.10.19

I loved putting this slideshow together! It’s quite a long one because there’s so much I want to share about this day. It was wonderfully joyful, with happy fun-loving people. Lauren and Chris tied the knot at Cliff Street Reserve on an overcast day – it was one of those days – is it going to rain or not and  the decision to be made ‘should we still go ahead outside’ – they did and it was the right decision! A tiny bit of rain during the ceremony but really hardly anything at all. I started with Lauren and the girls who all looked absolutely stunning, and headed over to the ceremony for photos of Chris and the boys – these guys definitely didn’t need me to tell them what to do for photos – they were being themselves, having a great time, laughing and enjoying every minute of the day and maybe a sneaky drink from the hip flask (yeah I saw ya’s)! Lauren arrived in a limo with the girls, and was walked down the aisle by her Dad and Grandad, very special indeed. Chris was all smiles and welled up when he saw his kids and his beautiful bride. A wonderful ceremony by Denise Butler, personal vows (some not appropriate to write here haha), and two people now ecstatic to be married! After some photos at Norah Head, we headed to the reception which included some pretty epic moves as the bridal party entered, followed by a night of fun and dancing.

Mr and Mrs Hitch, it was a real honour to capture you guys getting hitched. A huge congratulations from me and thank you for having me be a part of this fabulous day!

Thomas & Rebecca – Shelly Beach Golf Club:28.9.19

What an absolutely joyous day. I had so much fun with this tribe. I met Bec when she was her sister Kate’s bridesmaid 5 years ago, she had not long been with Tom at that stage. When Bec’s Mum Melinda contacted me about her wedding, I was so excited to be a part of another Charlton wedding – they are a lovely family. I started with Bec and the girls at Kooindah Waters with her wonderful bridesmaids and gorgeous little flower girl Sophie and Alyssa. After here, I headed to the club to meet Tom and get some photos of him and the boys and those all important family ones.

After the ceremony we did some photos near the ceremony spot,  jumped in the buggy’s and went for a hoon up the course. We got back for me to take some photos of the room before the guests entered – this is one of my favourite venues, it always looks absolutely stunning. I then headed out with the newlyweds for some photos right before the sun went down.

Bec and Tom – thanks for making my job so easy with your big smiles and to the bridal party who laughed and smiled while we were out on the course and freezing to death – you guys were fabulous.

Enjoy the slideshow below – I will upload these images and a few more guests shots to my facebook page where you can share from there.

Ben & Kayla – Shelly Beach Golf Club: 21.9.19

Thanks for having me a part of your day Ben and Kayla! Or as Kayla’s Dad Matt put’s it ‘Ken and Bayla’. I met these two three years ago when I photographed Kayla’s Marvel themed 21st birthday party. Her family were so lovely and it was great to see them all again yesterday. I started with Kayla and the girls at Holgate and headed over to the Golf Club where it was a tad breezy (putting it lightly here). A sweet ceremony by Fiona Rogers, and a little awww moment from me when I heard Ben say how he thinks Kayla is the most beautiful woman to him and I thought he’s such a gentleman. Some very proud parents yesterday.

After we battled some wind during the photos and a veil with a mind of it’s own, we went for a bit of a hoon on the golf course in the buggy’s and thankfully we weren’t knocked out by any golfballs as there were still quite a few golfers around.  We headed back for a night of celebration, great speeches, wonderful food and awesome company.

Wishing you two all the very best – hope your day was all you dreamed of.

Jake & Rebecca – Pullman Magenta Shores: 14.9.19

A wonderful day for Bec and Jake who married at Pullman Magenta Shores on Saturday. I was recommended to these guys by past couples and their families and it’s so nice to see familiar faces. A big thanks from me! Jake and Bec were getting ready in separate townhouses at Magenta – makes it easy when it’s all at the one location. I went to Jake and the boys first and it’s always great when parents are there too to get those all important family photos. Jake was to read a card from Bec so myself and videographer Kara (from Way Up High) took him outside and lets just say his reaction bought myself and Kara to tears. Off to the girls who were getting ready for the big day ahead and soon the ceremony took place officiated by the bubbly Lauren Teys. Her ceremonies are awesome and if you’re wondering why I took a photo of the guests with hands on hearts its because she was making them pledge they would have the best day and night – and everyone certainly did. Also, check out the little Page Boy cruising down the aisle waving at everyone – this was the absolute cutest. Once Bec arrived, Jake’s reaction was just as I expected. Full of love for his bride.

It was a wonderful reception – a little something different with a cake ceremony on entry, where they cut the cake, soon followed by some heartfelt speeches, great food, bouquet and garter toss and some epic moves on the dance floor.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Ida and enjoy your honeymoon!

Scott & Amy – Gracelands Forresters Beach: 13.9.19

This wedding was so much fun! Amy and Scott tied the knot at Gracelands Forresters Beach on a sunny spring afternoon. I started off with the boys for a few prep shots and over to the girls at Bateau Bay. Everyone looked absolutely stunning. I met Amy when she was a bridesmaid last year for her friend Sarah who’s wedding I shot, and this time Sarah was Amy’s bridesmaid along with sister Kate and friend Bec. Lots of giggles with these girls – Amy you’re an absolute crack up with a big smile and so fun to be around. The ceremony was out the back of Gracelands and after it was all official we headed up to Crackneck for  photos with the bridal party. The reception was cocktail style, lots of fun, kids were having a ball and these two were just simply all loved up!

Thanks for having me there ! Wishing you both every happiness.

Daniel & Gemma – Rafferty’s Resort: 3.8.19

What a great way to kick off wedding season! A perfect day at Rafferty’s Resort for Daniel and Gemma’s wedding with the sun shining upon them so brightly. Gemma walked down the aisle with her Dad to her extremely happy groom who was quite emotional as he looked at his bride. A lovely ceremony delivered by Tracey Walsh and to end it with the releasing of some butterflies. The day was lots of fun, heartfelt, and a wonderful first dance choreographed by Your First Dance Co to surprise the guests. Other shout outs go to: Jenna Mclean Make Up Artist, Brides to Be, Olivieri’s Florist for those stunning bouquets, fantastic MC and DJ from Tim from Timeless Weddings, Brad from Coastal Prestige for the photo booth and of course Rafferty’s Resort for their wonderful service and venue.

Congratulations guys – wishing you both a beautiful life together.

Jason & Nicole – North Entrance SLSC: 15.6.19

I think fun is what most couples aspire to have on their wedding day. There can be a lot of stress organising such a big day and hopefully each couple just forget all the organising and enjoy it! This wedding was certainly all about catching up with family and friends and everyone having a wonderful time. You can tell by all the giggles Jason and Nicole did just that! There’s lots of laughing moments in these images and I truly think that is what a wedding is all about. It was great to be a part of this special day.

After ten years they made it official! Congratulations Jason and Nicole and thanks for having me a part of this wonderful celebration.

Alex & Jade – Kangy Gardens: 14.5.19

My autumn weddings have been so lovely and this one was no exception! What a gorgeous midweek wedding for Alex and Jade who were married at Kangy Gardens. Let me just say – I am so impressed by this venue. My first wedding here, however I did check it out the week before with Jade and knew the colours would look absolutely stunning. This place really has so much to offer and if you’re looking for a venue – check it out!  Alex and Jade got married in the wonderful chapel like building made all official by celebrant Gabe, we did a few photos around the grounds and with their beautiful girls and finished it off with some family and friends photos. Everyone enjoyed a few beverages and canapes.  This was a short and sweet amount of coverage, but we packed in some great shots in the time we had.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Patterson!

Dayle & Dimity – Wyong Golf Club: 11.5.19

Who doesn’t love a surprise! Dayle and Dimity held their ‘engagement party’ on Saturday at the Wyong Golf Club – throw in a ceremony not long into the celebration and what do you know, you’re at a wedding! What a great way to do it. I met these two for some photos prior to the party. We got in the golf buggies and off we went around the course. Perfect weather at the best time to shoot. After an hour we headed back inside for a change of clothes for Dimity and guests started to arrive soon after. We did some photos with guests and shortly after Dimity disappeared to put her wedding dress back on. Meantime the celebrant arrived and announced to everyone that they were getting married. Lots of surprised faces! Dimity then walked back in escorted by her Dad. A lovely ceremony, followed by guest congratulations, family and friends photos, dinner and lots of celebrating. It was an awesome vibe and everything went perfectly to plan.

Thanks for having me be a part of this super fun engagement/wedding!

Amanda & Sarah – Magenta Shores: 4.5.19

Magenta Shores was the backdrop to Amanda and Sarah’s beautiful wedding day. I started coverage from the ceremony and stayed to capture the formalities and of course the guests having a great time. What started off as a bit of a cloudy morning turned into the most beautiful autumn afternoon. After the ceremony we did some family photos and jumped in the carts for a quick session around the golf course as the sun was going down fast!

Once again the room at Magenta looked absolutely stunning.

Thank you Sarah and Amanda for having me a part of your day and after all these years of being together, I’m so happy that you two have made it official.

My very best wishes to you both.
