Standing within this gorgeous spot Leigh and Dinah chose for their ceremony we felt like we were in North Queensland with all these tropical trees and lush gardens, but no we were at Magenta Shores right here on the Central Coast. I shoot here a lot (thank’s to the lovely Jaime who always recommends me), and I sometimes forget just how beautiful it is amongst all the villa’s. A lovely quiet spot, just the two of them and made official by Jules Amidy – her ceremonies are heartfelt but always entertaining and I love how she prints the vows on a big deck of cards and yesterday’s they read from two ‘3’ cards for the 3rd of December. So these two had only myself as a witness and needed one more, so my lovely husband came along for the day, not only to witness but he was a great bag carrier! After the ceremony, it was photos of the newly wedded couple who were then having lunch at a table set up for them outside on the deck. So relaxing and it was how they wanted to do it.
There’s no rules to how you get married and as I always say…. do what makes you happy, not to please everyone else. It’s your special day after all.
Shout out’s to Fiona Rogers of Divine Hair and Makeup and a stunning bouquet by Blooms at the Bay.
Congratulations Leigh and Dinah, it was so lovely to meet you. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day yesterday and Sean and I wish you all the happiness in the world.
