Congratulations to Lorna and Jarrod on their wedding at Crowne Plaza Terrigal, surrounded by loved ones. Some of whom traveled all the way from the UK to be there.
Lorna and Jarrod met how many couples do these days. These lovebirds met online.
Emotions were high as Jarrod fought the tears, they started to come as his daughter walked down the aisle and continued as Lorna looking absolutely stunning walked down with her Dad.
Their celebrant Ann McMahon told the story of how Jarrod leaned in for a kiss on the first date while Lorna extended her hand for a handshake. I had to laugh at this picturing the awkwardness of it! However, it obviously wasn’t awkward for long because here they were.
I loved how Lorna and Jarrod’s fathers reached over to shake each others hand when they were pronounced married – true gentlemen.
A couple of my favourite photos from this wedding is the look exchanged between Lorna and her Mum as they were signing.
Originally Lorna and Jarrod weren’t going to have a photographer, however changed their mind and lucky for me, I know one of Lorna’s work mates who was kind enough to recommend me. I started half hour before the ceremony and absolutely packed in as much as I could for these guys. Knowing that many had come all the way from the UK I wanted to get as many guest photos as possible. This was the most important thing to Lorna and Jarrod rather thank too much time on photos of the two of them.
As I was only there for a little of the reception, I have no doubt the night was an absolute blast!
Thanks for deciding on a photographer Jarrod and Lorna! It was a pleasure to capture your amazing day and your lovely family and friends. Hope you had the best day!
