Paul and Kara wanted a rainforest vibe for their wedding, and our secret garden offered the perfect setting to bring their vision to life.

Living far from the Central Coast, I didn’t meet Paul and Kara till the day of their wedding, but instantly I was welcomed with a big hug by a handsome groom rocking the long dreadlocks. His family are super proud and clear to see how happy they all were for him. Especially Mum, her hugs for him said it all. 

Ceremony

Their little girls Lucy and Brya walked down the aisle before their gorgeous Mum who walked down with her Dad. Paul was waiting with the lady that would get these two married, the fabulous celebrant Haley Rutherford. 

Sweet vows were said, rings exchanged and before long everyone was cheering for this amazing couple who met ten years ago while working at a video store. 

After the congratulatory hugs and kisses I took Paul and Kara for some photos of the two of them and there was really no direction required. They are clearly so smitten and hugged and laughed and were just so into each other. I’m absolutely in love with how their gallery turned out.

Reception

Our Secret Garden provided Kara and Paul with such a calm, peaceful and tranquil vibe. With plenty of space for the kids to play and guests to mingle, everyone enjoyed a buffet-style dinner. The Wondering Waterhole served drinks, and sounds of  Chris Rutherford’s music filled the air. Haley continued on as MC and after a couple of speeches, and cutting of the cake (which also doubled as a birthday cake for Kara’s Nan), dancing, it was time for me to leave this awesome couple and let them continue the celebrations. 

Kara and Paul, thank you for having me capture this day. It was a pleasure to be there and spend it with you and your lovely family and friends.
