A Hunter Valley Wedding at Ben Ean Winery

Dramatic skies and gorgeous valley views set the scene for Louis and Bek’s Hunter Wedding

Congratulations to Louis and Bek who were married on the lawn on the fabulous grounds of Ben Ean Winery in the Hunter valley.

I started with Louis and his four groomsmen brothers at a lovely Airbnb in Cessnock. Bek and Louis’ baby boy Alfie stole my heart with his bright blue eyes and huge smile. Matching outfit to the big boys – cute suspenders and all!

Bek and the girls were getting ready close by at a charming country-style AirBnb. What a character-filled property.

As the girls walked down the aisle, Louis and Bek’s daughter Ivy beamed leading the way. Brad the Colourful Celebrant got these two married. He insisted it was an unplugged wedding (yay for me!). He gave the option to the guests to get quick photos with the couple before phones were put away. They had thirty seconds, what a brilliant idea. Brad surely made the ceremony entertaining and memorable and told the story of Bek and Louis which was a ‘Tinderella’ type situation.

Dramatic skies for our first day of summer provided an awesome backdrop for photos with their wonderful bridal party. I got these newlyweds amongst those lush Hunter Valley vines and then we headed back for a night of great food, a donut wall, heartfelt speeches and a first dance including their cute kids.
