‘Nothing fancy, just love’ is how Bev described the theme of her and Hugo’s upcoming wedding when we spoke. I knew straight away I couldn’t wait to capture the day. It was only to be them and children and grandchildren… and thank goodness for the grandchildren who ran and got Hugo’s glasses from the house so he could read his vows! Bev and Hugo, had some photos together before they got married and arrived together to the ceremony in the horse and carriage. Awaiting them was their family as well as the always happy, bubbly celebrant Lauren Teys…. shout out to Lauren – I always find myself giggling during her ceremonies, she’s fabulous at telling the story of how the couple met, so personable and always has the guests having a laugh. Canapes in the shade of the liquid Ambers, carriage rides for the family around the beautiful venue that is Fernbank Farm… it was lovely to be back at this amazing location capturing so much love between Bev and Hugo. 

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Martinez… I’m so glad you found each other. You both look truly happy and thanks for allowing me the honour of being a part of this day.
