Ryan & Katherine -The Landing Honeysuckle:24.3.19

Ryan and Katherine were married on a very warm Autumn day. Despite the heat, it was a simply beautiful. The ceremony was in the backyard of Ryan’s parent’s home – why wouldn’t you get married here with that amazing view! Reception was at The Landing Honeysuckle –  a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by family and friends. Photos of the bridal party were at Fernleigh Track with some at the Wine Selectors. Thank you for having me a part of your special day – you went beyond was is expected, I was so looked after (dinner was amazing!) and I had a lovely time sitting chatting with your family – almost forgot I was there to do a job! I hope you enjoy your sneak peak.

Marc & Daina – La Fiamma Ettalong: 23.3.19

What a wedding! A gorgeous day for Daina and Marc who married at Ettalong on Saturday with a huge celebration at La Fiamma. I haven’t been here before and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Half undercover and half outside with lovely festoon lights and lanterns. We had a little bit of rain which added to the atmosphere and I had to get the newlyweds out for a quick dance. A great band to provide the entertainment who had absolutely no problem getting the guests up dancing and even a little dance off with the guys and girls! It was a wedding with lots of laughs, tears of happiness, heartfelt speeches, and a very proud big sister. A wonderful bridal party offering support to the bride and groom and made the day lots of fun.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Tarring – I hope you absolutely LOVE your sneak peak.

Scott & Kim – Matcham: 16.3.19

What a perfect way to say ‘I do’! Kim and Scott married at the most gorgeous property at Matcham yesterday. Both Scott and Kim got ready here and didn’t see each other until we did a ‘first look’. Despite the day starting with rain and the ceremony moved to their back up option of the garage of this awesome house, it was still absolutely beautiful. A very special ceremony by Michelle (Marry Me Michelle), with lots of heartfelt moments.

It was a lovely vibe throughout the day with awesome food, no formalities, just spending time with their nearest and dearest. Not too long into the day the rain cleared, the kids got to swim in the pool and the guests did some exploring of this scenic property. I have to say – it was really an awesome way to get married! Looking forward to shooting my next wedding here in a couple of weeks time.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Castle and thanks for having me be apart of your special day! Loved it!

Jake & Jess – Linton Gardens, Somersby: 2.3.19

Jake and Jess – high school sweethearts tied the knot yesterday at Linton Gardens Somersby. Absolutely love the ground here and one of my fave spots to shoot a ceremony. I started off with the girls and up to Linton Gardens where I met with Jake and his groomsmen and groomswoman for some photos before Jess arrived. She certainly looked absolutely amazing, and as you will see by Jake’s reaction – he thought so too. Capturing these moments is what I absolutely love about weddings.

This was a lovely intimate wedding, with family and friends – they played their own music, Jake’s Dad Luke was MC and did a fantastic job.

Everyone was clearly having a great time celebrating the new chapter of the now Mr and Mrs Westbrook.

Thanks for having me guys xxx

Josh & Emma – Wallarah Bay Recreation Club: 9.2.19

Congratulations to Josh and Emma who tied the knot on the waters edge at The Wallarah Bay Recreation Club. With the weather looking a bit iffy with lots of cloud about, luck was on their side (and mine!) and these two got to have their outdoor ceremony as planned. We headed off to Jenny Dixon Reserve for photos in some much needed shade and back to the club where the room looked absolutely beautiful. Lots of fun had by all and it was a pleasure to capture this special day.

Glenn & Kate – Private Property Kincumber: 12.1.19

Congratulations to Glenn and Kate who decided to marry in a non traditional but wonderful way. I’m always up for something a little different. A picnic set up, a marquee, a gorgeous cake, an amazing grazing table and slushy machine, no formalities – just a welcoming of close friends and family and a lovely ceremony in the backyard of Kate’s parent’s home. Photos of the bride and groom prior to everyone arriving. With a view of Brisbane Water on a warm summers day it was all that was needed – casual, low key, chilled out. Not often I start at 8.30am and finish by midday but hey I liked it!

Paul & Erin – Margan Restaurant and Winery, Broke: 5.1.19

What a great way to start 2019’s weddings. Paul and Erin married at the picturesque Margan Restaurant and Winery on a 40c Aussie summer’s day. I started with the boys at Wine Country Villa’s Pokolbin where we braved the heat for a few shots outside, and then headed to the girls at the most awesome accommodation Talit’s Estate. Off to the ceremony where it all became official and into the shade for congratulations and family photos. It was a wonderful day, great atmosphere with the band, great speeches – lots of laughs and Paul happy he got to tell a few of his ‘Dad’ jokes – not sure how impressed Erin was. All in all, everyone had a marvellous day, lovely to have Paul’s friends and family make the trip from the UK to share in this special day.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Hills.

Nick & Esther – Private Property, Somersby: 22.12.18

You would be forgiven for thinking Nick and Esther’s wedding was somewhere in the Hunter Valley, but no it was on a private property in Somersby and nice of a long time family friend to offer his home so they could marry here. What a beautiful outlook and what an absolutely amazing house, built into the mountain!

I started with Esther at The Clan, Terrigal and headed up to Somersby – it was a tad windy and quite cool for a summer’s day but it was absolutely lovely. A marquee and buffet dinner, great speeches, and a terrific atmosphere.

Congratulations Nick and Esther!

Gary and Ella – The Springs Peats Ridge: 8.12.18

A gorgeous day for Gary and Ella at The Springs. I started with the girls at Ella’s parents home and off to the venue for some photos of the boys. Ella and the girls looked absolutely amazing with Make Up by April and Alicia’s Personal Hair Design. Both these ladies do an amazing job.

A lovely lighthearted ceremony by Kez (Wed by Kez) who got the group photo organised in military precision! A great atmosphere at this awesome venue with music provided by Simon of Magoo’s and well done to Gary’s sister Bec who totally nailed her job as MC. A lovely father daughter dance followed by an awesome first dance!
