I won’t say we had a lovely sunny day because we very clearly had rain, but it was beautiful all the same and at the end of the day – Matt and Sarah were married in front of their families. Haley Rutherford from Love Notes Ceremonies made it all official , along with her husband Chris who played some acoustic music while the guests enjoyed some delicious food from Eden Catering. Sarah and Matt were so wonderful in braving the rain for their photos, especially when the bride has spent hours having hair and makeup done (thanks makeup by April!) but we really had no other choice so we had to laugh and embrace it! Probably the first wedding I wore gumboots too and I had to pat myself on the back for my practical choice. Thanks Sarah and Rob from Happy Valley Wedding Ceremonies and Events – what a lovely property for photos! Lots of awesome spots and I know I could’ve used more if it wasn’t for the rain. Hope to be back there again one day. 

Matt and Sarah, although your original wedding plans well…didn’t go to plan – your decision to have a sweet ceremony with just your family was so very special and at the end of the day you’re husband and wife and now can move on to the next part of the journey – whatever that may be.
