The Stables of Somersby Wedding Photographer | Central Coast Wedding Photographer
If you’re planning a The Stables of Somersby wedding, Sarah and Rob’s beautiful winter wedding is one to inspire you.
As a The Stables of Somersby Wedding Photographer, I love photographing weddings at this gorgeous Central Coast venue. The relaxed setting, beautiful grounds and natural light create the perfect backdrop for wedding photography.
Sarah and Rob’s day had everything I love about a Central Coast wedding. It was full of personality and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun.
A Beautiful Winter Wedding at The Stables of Somersby
Sarah and Rob chose a stunning winter day for their The Stables of Somersby wedding.
We kicked off the day with the boys in the cottage. I was joined by my friends Bella and Rob, who were capturing the video as part of our photography and video package.
There were plenty of laughs and plenty of banter as the groom Rob and the groomsmen prepared for the ceremony. We then headed over to the loft to photograph Sarah and the girls. Sarah looked absolutely incredible in her wedding dress. The beautiful sleeves were perfect for a winter wedding and suited her perfectly.
Of course, their gorgeous son Jaxx was also getting ready for his big moment.
His beautiful smile made it impossible not to photograph him! Those eyes! Why do boys always have the longest lashes?!?
Jaxx’s Very Special Aisle Entrance
One of my favourite moments from this The Stables of Somersby wedding happened before the ceremony had even started. Jaxx made his way down the aisle in a remote-controlled convertible! Everything started well, although the little car decided to take a slight zigzag along the way.
Jaxx was accompanied by his beautiful cousins, who looked gorgeous as flower girls and who clearly adore their little cousin. Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for.
Sarah walked down the aisle with her dad.
Rob watched his son first, then saw his beautiful bride walking towards him. He did his best to hold back the tears, but emotions got the better of him.
It was such a beautiful and emotional moment to capture.
A Beautiful Ceremony at The Stables
Haley Rutherford from Lovenote Ceremonies conducted a beautiful ceremony for Sarah and Rob. She’s warm, friendly and always does the most beautiful job. She stayed on as their MC for the evening and kept the night flowing.
Chris provided the music, creating the perfect atmosphere as the couple exchanged their vows.
The ceremony was filled with emotion, laughter and plenty of love.
These genuine moments are exactly why I love being a Central Coast Wedding Photographer.
There is something incredibly special about documenting the little looks, happy tears and reactions that happen throughout a wedding ceremony.
Drinks, Grazing and a Very Unruly Bridal Party
After the ceremony, everyone gathered for drinks and a delicious grazing table. It was time to relax and celebrate before we headed off for bridal party photos.
And what can I say about this bridal party?
They were crazy fun. There were laughs, ridiculous moments and plenty of personality.
Wedding Photography at The Stables of Somersby
One of my favourite things about being a The Stables of Somersby Wedding Photographer is the variety this venue offers. The property provides beautiful backdrops for portraits while still feeling relaxed and natural. I love allowing couples to enjoy their wedding day rather than spending hours away from their guests for photos.
For Sarah and Rob, we captured plenty of beautiful portraits while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed.
Heartfelt Speeches and Lots of Celebrating
The evening continued with heartfelt speeches.
There were plenty of laughs, some beautiful words and those emotional moments that make wedding speeches so special.
One of the most touching moments came when Sarah dedicated her wedding bouquet to her Mum. It was such a beautiful and meaningful gesture, made even more special by the lovely words Sarah shared in her speech.
Her speech was heartfelt, genuine and full of love and her Mum was clearly overcome. It was one of those moments that reminds you why weddings are about so much more than beautiful details.
Sarah and Rob decided not to have a traditional first dance.
Instead, they got straight into celebrating with their family and friends. There were plenty of drinks, lots of fun and a whole lot of celebrating to finish the night. Chris and his band, The Sugar Whiskey Band, got the dance floor moving with their live music.
It was the perfect ending to a relaxed and joyful Central Coast wedding.
A Fun-Filled The Stables of Somersby Wedding
Sarah and Rob’s wedding was such a wonderful day to photograph.
From Jaxx’s zigzagging convertible entrance to the emotional ceremony and the very unruly groomsmen, there was never a dull moment.
It was relaxed, genuine and completely them.
The Stables of Somersby was the perfect setting for their winter wedding. The beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous light made it an absolute pleasure to photograph.
As a The Stables of Somersby Wedding Photographer, these are the weddings I love capturing most.
The real moments.
The belly laughs.
The happy tears.
The crazy bridal parties.
And all the little moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
