Ryan & Rosie’s Engagement Session | Bateau Bay Beach | Central Coast Couple Photographer

Ryan and Rosie are tying the knot at Our Secret Garden next May, and my photography is included in their micro wedding package. Before the big day, Rosie thought it would be the perfect opportunity to capture some professional photos of the two of them, especially since they’d never had a couples photoshoot before.

An engagement session is such a wonderful way to celebrate this exciting time. It gives couples the chance to relax, enjoy spending time together, and create beautiful memories before saying “I do”. It also helps everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera, making the wedding day feel even more natural.

From a Chance Meeting in Newcastle to “I Do”

As we wandered along the beach, we chatted about how Ryan and Rosie first met.

Their story began on a night out at a club in Newcastle. It simply started when Rosie noticed Ryan and went over to talk to him and as they say – the rest is history.

Getting to know my couples during their session is one of my favourite parts of the job. These conversations help me understand who they are as people, making it easier to create photographs that genuinely reflect their relationship. I could see Rosie was keen for some fun shots – which I absolutely love! These two did not care about getting a little wet in the middle of winter – legends!

After spending the afternoon with Ryan and Rosie, I’m even more excited to photograph their wedding at Our Secret Garden next May.
