If you’re looking for a private and picturesque location for your wedding, surrounded by nature, with a homely feel and casual setting, nestled in the heart of Kangy Angy is the stunning grounds of Kangy Gardens. 

The last wedding I photographed here was 2019 and it was wonderful to be back! Especially to capture a wedding as amazing as Kristi and Jarrod’s. 

I absolutely love the story of these two. Kristi was quite literally the girl next door. When Kristi was in Year 6 she moved up from Sydney. She was just about to turn twelve and moved in next door to Jarrod and his family. Jarrod and his Mum knocked on the door to greet the newbies, however Kristi was very shy and hid in her room! I guess at some stage she overcame that shyness because here they are. 

With their two wonderful kids Kyla and Hunter, as well as lovely family and friends, these two got married, the deed done by Celebrant Elise Childs who brings the fun and laughter. 

Lovely to see familiar faces here with two of my wedding couples amongst the guest list, one being Kristi’s brother Chris who entertained us all as ‘Beer Man’ as he danced his way down the aisle giving out cans of beer from his beer belt to the tunes of ‘Milkshake’. Thankfully his lovely wife Curess got this on video! I have seen the replay – what a classic! 

As a photographer, my favourite weddings are the ones that bring me joy, the ones where I see the emotion, the genuine expressions. It’s truly a blessing to capture days like this when a couple look at each other the way these two do.
