Nicola and Adam tied the knot in the Secret Garden overlooking stunning Kiama views.

Wedding photography at a venue like this is such a delight. This is my kind of venue – an abundance of character and charm, beautiful old fig trees, a rustic-style reception, the prettiest views and this amazing homestead and guesthouse my only disappointment was I didn’t get to stay longer!

Understandably this location is so popular for weddings and families to escape and with it’s expansive views it puts you at instant ease. It’s made even better by the wonderful and friendly team of Greyleigh.

It was last year when I met this lovely couple at Nic’s sister’s wedding, Gabrielle in the Hunter Valley and was thrilled when Nicola contacted me to see if I’d take the trip to Kiama. You bet!

Their celebrant Shoshanna got these guys married, so engaging and bubbly, and kickstarted this wedding off on the right foot with the tale of Nicola and Adam. After they walked and dipped down the aisle, straight up to the lawn we went where the tower of champagne glasses were waiting to be filled. Bumpy Road Catering had the food and drinks sorted and everyone enjoyed this sun-shiny day. The kids (and adults!) were entertained with music, lawn games and a big old swing.

I hope these images tell the story of a glorious day full of happiness and laughter, some tears as loved ones were remembered, lovely family and friends, flowing champagne, a perfectly presented grazing table, a delicious feast, sparklers, a cake made with love from Nicola’s Mum Grace, a stunning bride and handsome groom, the cutest flower girls and page boys, and dances under a pretty night sky.
